[having dinner with broca has proved to be a rather comfortable sort of thing.

at first, he wasn't entirely sure the tiger man would accept, but how often does someone turn down free food? (unless, of course, the person making said food doesn't have a single clue what they're doing—) that, however, isn't the case with lan sizhui, who has had quite a lot of practice over the past four years, and the fact he's made things that he has made time and time again.

flaky white fish, miso soup, plain white rice and a spread of fresh fruit are what he'd decided on, all things he knows how to make and can make well, and from the look of it, things that broca seemed to enjoy too. they're finishing up now though and sizhui's moving to clear some of the empty dishes, taking them to the kitchen then returning, sitting and waiting patiently for the other male to either decide if he's fully done or if he wants more.

regardless, he doesn't mind waiting, plucking up pieces of fruit to eat while he does, some of which he sprinkles with sugar to sweeten them up.]

[ Whatever Broca is doing, wherever he may be, he is going to be bothered by a well-dressed hotel staff.
